Year 10 Students studying Hospitality and Catering at Ousedale School planned, prepared and delivered an excellent Afternoon Tea at the Mead Centre. It was a lovely friendly and fun occasion delivered professionally, efficiently and deliciously!
Approximately 50 people attended and all comments were very positive, with requests for more of the same, soon. Guests were welcomed from a wide age range, demonstrating the Mead Centre's commitment of being in the heart of the local community.
Mr Dave Lugg (Hospitality and Catering Lead) and team were enthusiastic and supportive; the amazing young students are a credit to themselves and their school. It's so good to have strong links between Ousedale and the Mead Centre. Jane Carr (local councillor) attended, she commented that it was a lovely time and she hopes that more events will happen in the future. More events will be planned!
