The Repair Cafe is returning to the Mead Centre on Saturday 25th May from 9.30am until 12.30pm.
Bring along your broken items, and our fabulous team of volunteer repairers will try to fix it for you while you wait. It could be a clock that doesn't tick, a jumper with a hole in it, a blocked vacuum cleaner, broken toys, broken jewellery, or anything else that needs a loving repair.
There will be refreshments available, and you will have a chance to chat to our lovely group of volunteers. There is no fixed cost, but payment by donation will be greatly appreciated.
In May, we will be welcoming Sue, from Lucky Stars, who is an expert at restoring old photographs. If you have an old photograph that you treasure, do bring them in. Your photograph will be scanned while you wait. Sue will then work her magic. This might take a few days, so she will email the photo to you once it's finished. Your photos should be no bigger than A4 in size. There will be a maximum of 2 photos per customer. If you have more, please have a chat with Sue to see if she can work on these as a separate agreement.
We look forward to seeing you on the 25th May.
