In October 2024, as an addition to our Time 4 Everyone sessions, we launched our very first Chatty Café. This is part of the Chatty Café Scheme, which operates nationwide.
Our Time 4 Everyone / Chatty Café sessions are held every Thursday from 11am to 1pm. When you arrive, you will see at least one table with a bright yellow Chatty Café Table sign. A trained volunteer will be available to have a chat to you about anything you'd like to talk about.
Time 4 Everyone / Chatty Café is open to everyone, and you'll be greeted with a warm welcome by our volunteers. This is an ideal opportunity to get a way for a short time, or for a few hours, and to meet new people. Interesting connections have already been made between strangers, who are now friends. Meeting new people can make a real difference, especially if you have recently oved into the area.
There is a chance to try your hand at simple crafts, you don't even need any previous skills. You might prefer to play some board/games, or you can just catch up on local news and activities.
